ASGCA "Request for Proposal" Form Streamlines Golf Course Proposal Process
Those interested in hiring a golf course architect for a golf course development or remodeling project can benefit from a free, easy-to-use form offered by the American Society of Golf Course Architects.

BROOKFIELD, WI, August 14, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Those interested in hiring a golf course architect for a golf course development or remodeling project can benefit from a free, easy-to-use form offered by the American Society of Golf Course Architects (ASGCA). "Request for Proposal for Golf Course Architectural Services" is a comprehensive document designed to help decision makers - developers, owners, superintendents or managers - address key elements of a project, including general notice, scope of services, owner's responsibilities, submittal requirements and the selection process.

"The 'Request for Proposal' document serves as an important tool for those with projects big and small," says ASGCA President Erik Larsen. "It's useful for first-timers who have never been involved in a golf venture, as well as managers and committee members who have been down this path before."

ASGCA can also assist those preparing the Request for Proposal on creating the most comprehensive and efficient distribution list to make sure recipients are the most knowledgeable and well-prepared to bid on the proposed project.

The "Request for Proposal" is a complete document that provides a thorough list of areas to be reviewed in detail by the golf course owners/managers to help solicit competitive bids for the benefit of the project and the public. This free document is available for download at www.asgca.org, and by calling ASGCA at (262) 786-5960 or emailing info@asgca.org.
