EATware premiers at PMA's Fresh Summit '08
EATware 100% Biodegradable food packaging premiers at PMA's Fresh Summit 2008 produce show in Orlando, FL.

ORLANDO, FL, November 14, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- This October, EATware International, Ltd. exhibited for the first time at PMA's Fresh Summit in Orlando, Florida with great success. Fresh Summit is one of the largest international events dedicated solely to produce and is the only one of its kind in the U.S.— featuring the latest products and services in the industry. This sold-out show drew more than 17,000 attendees from 70 different countries. Fresh Summit attracts product grower-shippers, retailers, equipment suppliers, importers/exporters, wholesalers, and foodservice distributors.

EATware had an extraordinary reception by those throughout the supply chain and stood out from traditional produce packagers. Currently, most fruit and vegetables are packaged using paper or plastic products, which no longer meet the demands of an eco-friendly market place. EATware recently stepped up to meet this need by expanding their line of disposable tableware to include produce packaging.

With today's growing need for environmentally friendly packaging, EATware grabbed the attention of attendee's with their 100% biodegradable product line. What sets them apart from the rest are their all-natural products made from highly renewable bamboo fibers. EATware 's patented 100% organic additive, EATplus , enhances the fibers and allows their products to be oil and water-resistant even at high temperatures yet remain highly biodegradable. No chemical additive can compare.

EATware offers a wide array of products for the produce packaging market. Their colorful exhibit displayed trays designed specifically to hold tomatoes, apples, and peppers, as well as containers to hold mushrooms, strawberries, garlic cloves, and more. Large trays, compartment trays, vented trays, containers with lids, heat-sealable products— EATware had it all. They even offer buyers the unique option of patterned or colored trays using a lamination. What's even more impressive was their price. Because EATware uses no expensive chemicals, they remain competitive with paper and plastic alternatives yet offer a much greater advantage to our environment.

Keep an eye out for EATware at the upcoming NRA show in 2009. Otherwise, you can find more information on this revolutionary company at their website.
