Make Your Unique Wedding Invitations Truly Romantic
Unique wedding invitations can set the stage for bridal day happiness. When the bride and groom take the time to think through what they really want their invitations to convey, then they can express their deep happiness at what it actually means to be getting married.

/Wisconsin News Articles/ - LAS VEGAS, NV, September 04, 2008 - Conventional wedding invitations? Or unique wedding invitations? Today the bridal couple faces a variety of choices. And while it may seem like a minor element of what will be a day long event, co-author of The Smart Couple's Guide to the Wedding of Your Dreams Judith Sherven, PhD suggests that the choice has serious consequences.

When consulting to wedding couples, Sherven makes clear that, "Using conventional wedding invitations makes you nearly invisible as a couple. But when you select personalized, unique wedding invitations, you invite your guests to get to know you as a couple. Your wedding programs can also help convey your distinctive expression as a couple, and set the tone for your ceremony and festivities to follow.

Sherven adds. "The first thing you'll want to do is follow your heart. Notice how you feel toward your guests. How do you want them to feel when they read your invitation and your program. How about: cared for, included, excited to be with you. Perhaps you want to arouse a little chuckle, or a sentimental sigh."

Sherven is intensely passionate about couples making their weddings unique. She says that it's an important way of preparing them to join together in all elements of their very real life together. "Remember that your wedding is an expression and celebration of your love. When you do, you'll avoid selecting invitations, for example, that treat your wedding like it's just a story book display."

As Sherven and her co-author husband Jim Sniechowski, PhD affirm in their book, "Your wedding is the first day of your married life. So, when you select your unique wedding invitations, don't make it an excuse to show off. Instead make sure your invitations express the two of you as a couple, a loving, dedicated couple.

"Then you'll be able to count on your guests feeling cared for and included in your very real romantic connection expressed through the personal care you've taken during your wedding planning."

To help couples (and singles) deepen and expand their romantic availability, Sherven and Sniechowski have created a Romantic IQ Quiz, which is available at no cost at: http://www.fromdatingtomarriage.com
