Venezuela is still a very poor country with a 80% of poverty and a very high rate of employment. Latest research estimates that about 60% of Venezuelan depends on underground economy to make a living. Hands off Venezuela (HOV) will discuss in deep the new and energetic movement on workers fighting to occupy and co-manage the factories to keep them opened and defend the latest social changes in Venezuela.

FRETECO or Revolutionary front of occupied and co-managed factories is a front of several occupied factories in Venezuela that is effectively connecting with similar movements in Brazil and Argentina.
